Black Arrested for Shooting at People Who Were Out for a Walk

Police and U.S. Marshals say the suspect in a triple shooting has been arrested.

Authorities say Jermaine Collins was wanted on charges of aggravated assault and weapons offenses stemming from a shooting in late October.

Officials say Collins was recorded walking down a street in Atlanta wearing a ballistic vest and shooting at people — including a 3 year old child — with an assault rifle.

Officials say Collins was arrested Tuesday after he tried hiding in the bathroom of an apartment that authorities were searching.
