Black Rapes Woman at Knife Point with Child Sleeping in the Same Bed

Police released surveillance video of the suspect who allegedly scaled a fire escape and crawled through a window into a woman’s bedroom in Little Italy early Monday, raping her at knifepoint as her 7-year-old daughter lay sleeping beside her.
The surveillance video shows the man, wearing jeans, a black jacket and a hat, walking down Mulberry Street around 3:30 a.m. Authorities say he somehow got into what should have been a locked courtyard outside the apartment building, climbed up the fire escape and entered the 42-year-old woman’s home.
