Ricky Griffin was bludgeoned to death by a Black predator who then tried to set him on fire.

Dallas police arrested a murder suspect who they say beat a man to death Monday and tried to set him on fire in his far northeast Dallas apartment.

Officers arrived at the apartment in the 9700 block of Forest Lane around 6 p.m. and found 54-year-old Ricky Griffin dead on the living room floor. He appeared to have suffered blunt force trauma to the head.
