The Overman Nears

Reading the Reddit-like (read: extremely gay) opinions of financially and emotionally comfortable techbros over on Hacker News leaves me despondent in that so few seem to understand what is actually at play with the move-heaven-and-earth-to-get-AGI/ASI stuff.

It’s not about cool technology or automating workflows or any of that happy horseshit. It’s a power play to render anyone below the so-called “1%” absolutely useless and therefore entirely expendable.

These braying sheep over at HN generally default to “we’ll just do UBI!”...as if those in power have any interest in keeping us working stiffs around once machines can do everything for them at a fraction of the cost and without any of the headaches (nor the disgust we induce in them).

First off, if no one’s working, where are tax dollars coming from to float UBI? The generosity of billionaires who will be the only ones left holding the levers of power? See how generous they’ve been to date and run that through your head as to how much sense “UBI” makes.

“Government will force their hand!” Retard, who controls government? Us plebes? Are you absolutely fucking retarded or just pretending to be?

We peasants have been tolerated throughout history because we were a necessary evil as far as those in power were concerned. We grew the crops or fought the wars or mined the coal, etc. But once AGI (or close enough) is achieved and robotics mature to the point where they can do everything a human can do, then why would those in power keep us around?

Answer: They won’t, at least if we’re in their way or annoying them.

Buy, you may object, in the past, beyond the mere utility of the peasantry, those in power may have felt obligated by some religious or philosophical precepts, or perhaps ethnic or racial solidarity, to be generous and compassionate toward their peasantry.

That was no doubt the case here and there. But if you think that applies today, I’d argue you haven’t been paying attention.

Our elite are no longer our ethnic nor racial brethren, so at best we can expect indifference from them--but more likely the disgusted hostility one race feels for the peasantry of another race. Nor are they religious, let alone pious--they’re too smart for that. And their philosophy is that of Nietzsche and Foucault--power by any means necessary while talking all the feel-good, left-wing talking points as pure Machiavellian deception.

So all this braying about “human rights” and such they view as mere bullshit by the weak attempting to gaslight them into forfeiting what is rightfully theirs. Darwin wins; right makes might; the law of the jungle and Thucydides observation that “the strong do what they will; the weak suffer what they must” returns with a vengeance.

Obviously what we call “AI” today is not where it needs to be...yet. But all trends indicate it will be, quite possibly sooner than anyone expects. So in the meantime there will be plenty of lip service paid to talk of “UBI” and “human rights” and “human dignity” and the like from those in power and their lackies who buy their subterfuge. This is all meant to keep us complacent while the plan finishes coming to fruition, just like cattle are led through visual barriers on their way to their slaughter.

But the moment we peasants can be replaced by robots, we will be. And the moment we’re replaced, we will be dispatched if need be with with all the concern developers have of clearing out trees so they can build a new strip mall. (Read: none whatsoever.)

The dream of world domination--that long recurring theme of humanity’s worst from time immemorial--appears to finally be in reach. If they reach it, we are doomed--for we will be exterminated like the unwelcome vermin they consider us.

And who can blame them. Have you hung out with “us” lately? We’re terrible.

So I guess enjoy your vibe coding and performative engineering projects for as long as you can. Maybe you can be clever or entertaining enough to earn a more merciful culling. Me, I find no solace in such delusions of grandeur. I’m a peasant, as are my friends and family--and we’re all doomed.

In Brave New World they sent the defectors to live on islands, which were depicted as being full of interesting characters and basically a good place to live.

They definitely aren't going to allow something like that in the globohomo empire. To be honest, I still expect "the jab" to sterilize the next generation, or have some other apocalyptic effect.

It has crossed my mind (and prolly everyone's) that once they have AI perfected, they might try to kill us all off.

It would be a hell of a struggle to outthink AI if it ever becomes an us-versus-them overt war because every time you have a good idea that wins a battle in the war, AI learns from it.

Here I think, at the risk of getting a little religious/philosophical is where the human spirit comes in -- our great artists and thinkers. They innovate in ways AI can't. It can seem like AI does innovate (prolly even more so in the future), but mostly it's just extrapolating things from already existing data that we haven't picked up on. My argument being it can't innovate from nothing.

Victory would depend upon humans (almost certainly Whites, second choice Chinese) having at least one brilliantly original idea of how to fight back and then leveraging that with maximum effort for maximum effect so that there is no second chance for AI.

After we win, we should keep one AI program running just so it can keep cold calling Ed to promise him that his claim for UBI is being processed.

The underclass doesnt make PowerPoint presentations. Since 1970s, a time when woman didnt need to work and technology allowed a man to earn alone enough to buy a home and raise a family and own 2 cars, women entered the workplace and job growth was driven by regulations and out right fraud.

AI is replacing jobs that exist on computers which by definition are virtual. We never needed them. Our ponzi scheme economy is collapsing and AI will take the blame.

The lower class jobs will be replaced by robots. China is working on that us not so much. We will see a middle class Armageddon not elimination of the lower classes. We will just join them.

AI is finished after this war. It's a hugely expensive energy hungry "Rube Goldberg" machine designed by Jewish Intelligence to control access to information by appearing to be convenient, accessible and knowledgeable. It's not going to replace real work. Ultimately the real objective of AI isn't to create a new consciousness, or replace anyone's job. It's to stop people from asking the JQ. The internet allowed people to ask the JQ once again after 70 years, and that's forced the Jews to start the Apocalypse ahead of schedule, so they had to shut it down. They couldn't shut it down and the censorship regime wasn't working, so instead they just have to use AI to completely scramble the whole internet and control your access to it without seeming like you are being censored.

The western world has been in a sort of stasis regarding real work since the 80s when they outsourced industry and production to the third world in order to prevent 'populists' from challenging Jewish control. So it seem like AI is doing really impressive things, but really all the work it could potentially replace is just bullshit jobs designed to cycle credit through the bullshit economy.
