Juan Emmanuel Manns, 24, of Boca Raton remained jailed Saturday on $100,000 bail after his Thursday arrest on one count of lewd and lascivious conduct. The charge is related to an incident alleged to have happened Wednesday evening.
The 7-year-old victim was in an aftercare program at the school on Hillsboro Boulevard when Manns asked him to sit on his lap, according to a sheriff’s spokeswoman. The child told the sheriff’s Special Victims Detective LaTanya Phillips that while he was on Manns’ lap, he felt “something” poking his buttocks, according to Joy Oglesby, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.
