A man is accused of stealing $19,000 worth of candy Friday.

Deputies say Crickler Vending hired a private investigator to conduct an internal audit to find out who was stealing large amounts of candy from their Jefferson location in Henrietta.

The audit revealed that Trevor Peeples, who was an employee of Crickler Vending, was the one responsible.
