You Can’t Even Tell if It’s Satire Anymore

There is an ongoing internet phenomenon wherein it is impossible to distinguish people sarcastically mocking the beliefs of SJWs and actual SJWs.  Sometimes, I wonder if the SJW movement is not in itself a gigantic troll operation by some highly evolved /pol/ from the dark web or something.

How can someone say “hate speech is not free speech” with a straight face?  What does it mean?  The entire purpose of laws protecting free speech is so that people are not stopped by the government from saying things which offend.  It is a known and understood concept.
