Travel and office

Travel

1.      To and from employment of protectee
        a.  Vehicle in good repair
                1.  Alternate vehicle available at all times
        b.  Inspect Often- Daily safety inspection
        c.  Keep in secure ( locked ) area
        d.  Driver properly trained and background check completed
        e.  Protectee trained in offensive and defensive driving skills
        f.  Use alternate routes and times to-from employment
                1.  Use alternate vehicles
        g.  Avoid "vanity" license plates or holders with any information.
        h.  Do not use "reserved for XXX" parking slots, reserved by
                number are OK.

2.  Air/Vessel/Train Considerations

        a.  Book more than one time and type of transportation
                1.  Book under PSA name and use credit card issued to PSA for
                        payment.
                2.  Change the name at last minute if necessary.
                3.  Have protectee use a "nom de guerre" for reservations.
        b. Check local political and criminal activity at location of
departure
                and destination- Advance
        c.  Send Advance team as least TWO days prior to arrival- MINIMUM
        d.  Know location and have route map to nearest medical facility.
                1.  Trauma Centers
                2.  Emergency Rooms
                3.  Days and hours of operation- CONFIRM +
        e.  Arrange export licenses for software and communications equipment
                if travelling abroad.

Office/ Employment

        a.      Similar to home survey
        b.      No direct access for public to protectee office area
        c.      Private restroom, no public access- even guests
        d.      Private stairs/ Elevator- have escape route camouflaged
        e.      Implement layered access controls
                1.  Physical
                2.  Personnel controls
                3.  No direct path to office access door.
        f.      Direct communications to corporate security and police.
        g.      Panic alarm with video confirmation provision.
        h.      Building Fire/EMS/Evacuation plan posted and rehearsed.
        i.      Private phone with cellular backup- power backup.
        j.      PSA's trained in " Light Search and Rescue" for building
                collapse rescue.
