= = == Heavy advance- by limiting access to the area in which the
Protectee will be sitting, by having counter-snipers, by searching and
then securing the entire ballpark with EOD dogs, LOTS of manpower
money, and intelligence gathering. Also a few X-rays of the steel
superstructure and welding joints ( I kid you not ).

= = It's NEVER enough, if someone wants to trade their life for another
there isn't much you can do to stop them, only delay, and prevent through
planning and action. Most of the time the barrier is the PSA group- bodies.
>

= = = Always, but you have to secure the area after the sniffing, otherwise

it becomes un-secure again. Most USSS agents stand a post for their entire
shift- it may be watching empty bleachers overnight in the rain.

>	and what about ordering a ball-park frank?
= = = This is an interesting point, and I'm glad you brought it up. There
is
no official "taster" for the Protectee. Most of the food is done at random,
where the server has no idea who gets the food, or where it's going. Use
this technique at banquets. When food is comming out of the kitchen, just
walk over at random and designate a plate for the protectee- then inspect
it and watch it until it is delivered

Unlikely bad guys would kill off everyone, but then again we didn't have
Hamas in the old days :-/
