Handloaders, Ballistic engineers, or anyone interested in the design of bullets, bullet jackets, or lead extrusion can use any personal computer with a modem to dial directly to the Corbin Computer-based Communications System (CBCS). Once connected, the individual has access to a series of powerful design programs, as well as the ability to place and read want ads, messages, orders, participate in a survey, and receive free software by modem transfer. The system combines elements of a standard "Computer Bulletin Board " with the ability to access Corbin's software remotely, using a personal computer as a terminal connected to Corbin's 80386-based system. There is no charge for the service (except for the telephone call). To access the computer system, Dial 503-826-6737 from 6pm to 8am (Pacific time), using any personal computer with a 300, 1200 or 2400 BAUD modem with standard 8 bit, no parity, 1 stop bit data format. Electronic swap meets, lists of used equipment for sale by owners, lists of custom bullet sources around the world, and information regarding special tips and techniques of swaging are available on the CBCS.
