A  question  was  raised  on a BBS by a Maryland citizen about gun bans and
recent activities by the anti-gun crowd (crowd?  Howabout just the media?).
The reply to the question (preceeded below by the > sign) was  not  written
by myself, although I wish I had penned it.   -Mike-

Yes,  the most damage ever done to the 2nd Amendment in the history of
America was done by the "Conservative" Reagan administration, NRA Life
Member and friend of gun owners. Carter tried to do an equal amount of
damage, but was unable to because he wasn't a "friend" of gun  owners.
The  NRA  and  gun  owners watched Carter too closely, and raised cain
when he tried to promote anti-gun legislation. No need to "worry" with
the NRA life member in office, so everybody took a nap.  See  how  the
two  departments  of  America's Great One Party System compliment each
other? How else could Ronald Reagan get clean  away  with  what  Teddy
Kennedy  could  only  dream  about?  This past election, the One Party
System offered to us a vocal Communist Sympathizer, or another "friend
of gun owners." Guess what the next 4  years  holds  for  gun  owners,
under the leadership of CFR/TC Director Bush?

However,  I  hardly  think  this  anti-Constitutional legislation came
about due to the "Conservatives"  inability  to  "control"  drugs.  In
fact, I suspect that large amounts of drug money are channeled to many
of  these  "Liberal"  and  "Conservative"  politicians'  foreign  bank
accounts on a weekly basis. This DemoPublican created anti-gun  public
hysteria  is  carefully  molded  for  the  well thought out purpose of
separating the American citizen  from  his  firearms,  so  "One  World
Government,"  and  "A  New  World Order" can be ushered in and imposed
DOWN on the American people.....following the designs of  a  coliation
of  domestic and foreign Conspiritors who hope to become more powerful
and increasingly wealthy at your  and  my  expense;  or  even  at  the
expense of  our  lives and freedom.  No price is too large for _us_ to
pay, to launch their lives of mere luxury into...MegaWealth! Actually,
wealth  is  only  a  natural  bi-product  of  what  they  really  lust
for.... more  POWER!  It's hard for you or I to fathom what these type
of people really desire, and the means to which they  are  willing  to
go.
