MARYLAND BUSINESSES DONATE TO BAN HANDGUNS

  In its final report to the Maryland State Administrative Board of
Elections listing contributors to the "Citizens for Eliminating
Saturday Night Specials" Committee, it was reported that the following
businesses - and two high profile and known anti-gun advocates - made
the following contributions to ban handguns in Maryland:

  Some of the companies listed are local, others are national.  You
might consider letting them know how you feel about their support of a
law that is aimed at ALL handguns, regardless of what they CLAIM it is
supposed to do.  For instance, if you use any of the products made by
Noxell Corp. (Noxema, Cover Girl makeup, etc.), you might consider
other options and LET THEM KNOW WHY!  Boycotts never work if they don't
KNOW they're being boycotted.

You may be interested to know that Carl Rowan, the columnist from
Washington that shot a kid in his Jacuzzi for trespassing(!?) was a
member of the Coalition to Ban Handguns in D.C.  Rowan shot the boy
with AN UNREGISTERED PISTOL which illustrates that the mighty
government doesn't want YOU to have a pistol, but THEY will have them.

  Finally, if you'd like to write Gov. Schaefer and let him know what
you think of the bill (he SAYS he'd like to hear from Maryland citizens
about it), his address is:

    Use your clout as a citizen and remind Governor Schaefer, as well
as your local elected officials that gun owners you will vote anyone
out of office who does not support the Constitution as written, which is
their sworn duty.
