H. Con. Res. 3 - Mr. Crane
Expressing the sense of the Congress with respect to the right of all
Americans to keep and bear arms in defense of life or liberty and in the
pursuit of all other legitimate endeavors.
"Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it
is the sense of the Congress that the Constitution provides that all
individual citizens have the right to keep and bear arms, which right
supersedes the power and authority of any government."

H. J. Res. 81 - Mr. Owens of New York
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States repealing
the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

H. R. 277 - Mr. Mazzoli
To amend Title 18, United States Code, to require a waiting period before
the purchase of a handgun.
The "Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act".

H. R. 893 - Mr. Gutierrez
To amend Title 18, United States Code, to prohibit the posession or
transfer of assault weapons.
Defines 'assault weapon' as any semi-auto firearm or shotgun with a
revolving cylinder feed. Exempts 'generally recognized as particularly
suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes'. Prohibits
transfer of those currently in possession. 

H. R. 544 - Mr. Torricelli, Mr. Moran, Mr. Barrett of Wisconsin, Mr.
Ackerman, Ms. Maloney, Mr. Beilenson, and Mrs. Morella
To amend Title 18, United States Code, to prohibit the transfer of 2 or
more handguns to an individual in any 30-day period.

H. R. 661 - Mr. Collins of Illinois
To provide for the manufacturer, importer, or dealer of a handgun or an
assault weapon to be held strictly liable for damages that result from the
use of the handgun or assault weapon.
"Each defendant... shall be held strictly liable in tort, without regard
to fault or proof of defect, for all direct and consequential damages..."
Exempts Law Enforcement, Military, suicides, and someone shot while
committing a felony punishable by imprisonment for more than 1 year.
