Mic, Speaker, and PTT Plugs

Mic Plug (3.5 mm mono) to Mic Jack
Tip of plug - Transmit Signal through a 0.1 microfarad capacitor (See Note 1)
Sleeve of plug - Ground

Speaker Plug (2.5 mm mono) to Speaker Jack
Tip of plug - Receive Signal
Sleeve of plug - Ground

PTT Plug (2.5 mm mono) to PTT Jack
TIp of plug - PTT

Note 1: Some TNCs do not require the capacitor.

Note 2: If your TNC supports a jack for Receive Audio, you can run a speaker cord with a 2.5 mm Mono Plug on one end and a 3.5 mm Mono Plug on the opposite end, straight from the Radio's External Speaker Jack directly to the TNC.
