The Child Online Protection Act has passed a voice vote in the House. The
Senate voted 98-1, with only Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt, dissenting, to amend a
Tax Freedom bill with a similar measure. If the Senate version is approved the
differences between the House and Senate versions will need to be worked out
by Friday before Congress adjourns.

A man convicted of possessing child pornography has been banned from all contact
with the Internet for 5 years. Now I am all for strict child pornography laws
but just how are they going to enforce this? Probably cheaper just to lock him
