Major Hardware vendors at Comdex have started to integrate security into the PCs themselves due to user demand. With sensors to tell network administrators if a case has been cracked, a processor has been removed, or even if it has been unplugged PC vend ors are adding security features directly to the PC.

An ISP in New Zealand has recently admitted it was broken into by malicious crackers that did some serious damage. Ihug (What a cute name) mailed a message to all of its subscribers about the incident.
