D-Keyboard Hack Requirements.

Palm OS 2.0.
35k to install the software.
HackMaster (not required for SE (stand alone edition)).

D-Keyboard use.

Important.

You have to disable and exit D-Keyboard before uninstall or reinstall.

If you are using Left Hack, please select compatible mode 2 in the setup form.

Please report any other hack incompatibilities.

Text input.

You can call and use D-Keyboard as you do with the system keyboard.

Extended characters.

You can enter extended characters with the numeric keyboard while in shift or caps mode.

International keyboard.

If your language needs the international keys, you may set the start with international enabled preference in the D-Keyboard setup form. You will then have the international keys automatically available whenever you call the keyboard

Toolbar.

D-Keyboard includes a toolbar that lets you do text operations faster and easier.

The toolbar includes icons (in the listed order) for the common edit operations such as undo, cut, copy, paste, and select all.

The extended operations currently include find and shortcut.

Find and replace.

To find, replace or replace all, first fill the find field (the field next to the find button), if you want to replace something, also fill the replace field. Next press the appropriate button. The search will start from the cursor or past the current selection.

Shortcuts.

You can define and use shortcuts in the keyboard with the help of the toolbar and the menus.

To enter a shortcut select the shortcut icon from the toolbar, and then enter the shortcut name.

You can enter the special shortcuts: date, time, and date-and-time stamps from the menu.

To define a new shortcut go to the shortcut menu, select new shortcut, enter the name and text for the shortcut, to finish press add.

Space move.

If selected in the setup form the space move inserts a space after inserting a letter, punctuation, number or other space.

To make the space move tap and hold a key, then move the pen a small amount in any direction, to finish lift the pen.

Big enter.

Changes the keyboard layout. This Layout eliminates the { } keys, and uses that space to make a bigger enter key.
