Austin Academy of Aviation is located at Austin's Robert Mueller Airport, sharing the same building with Austin Aero Avitat, an FBO on the east side of the airport. The academy is run by Virgil Kennedy, a retired USAF colonel, with well over 10,000 hours of flight time logged in a wide variety of aircraft. The academy is equiped to train the student from private licence to full ATP.
