Two Palestinians were killed Wednesday in an Israeli military attack in northern Gaza, as they launched missiles in front of a gun tower.

The Israeli military said ground forces hit militants who had launched three rockets from the town of Beit Hanoun. Security officials from the Islamic Hamas, which rules Gaza, also said the target was a militant rocket squad.
