Just How Did They Die?

A bomb killed four US soldiers, and their interpreter, in Iraq today on Thursday May 18.  Their vehicle struck a roadside bomb northwest of Baghdad, the U.S. military said in a statement.

IEDs have to be set off by a physical detonator, cell phone, or a electronic trigger. The only way you nail a humvee doing 30 mph, is with an electronic trigger placed on the jeep itself.

Your basic conclusion is these bombs require  INTEL as to targets, and they need sophisticated detonation devices.

Watch the video, and see why there is a question on the type of detonators being  used.
