South Florida socialite Linda Gosman faces multiple felony charges
in fraud case
Linda Gosman, wife of bankrupt health care magnate Abraham Gosman,
is accused of fraud, illegal bank transactions, and hiding expensive
possessions from her husband's creditors.
According to the indictment, Gosman, 59, hid $66 million in her
husband's bankruptcy proceedings.
The indictment also charges Gosman with hiding her exposure in the
bankruptcy case from mortgage lenders and with trying to evade financial
reporting laws when she withdrew money from foreign bank accounts.
If convicted, Gosman could face more than 10 years in prison. Her attorney
could not be reached for comment Friday.
