On 03/17, a bomb exploded near the shrine of Imam Hussein,
in Karbala killing at least 52. Israeli sources say it was an al-Qaeda
female suicide bomber, but the Karbala police chief said it had been a
planted bomb. Six youths were killed in Baghdad when mortars hit their
sports field. Two US soldiers were also killed in a roadside bombing
north of Baghdad.
Why would Al-Queda blow up a mosque full of families?
