These Shootings Make No Sense

99% of crimes like this are motivated by revenge. A person gets fired, there's a divorce, payback for a crime, etc., and they go after that person. Someone is fleeced by a lawyer, and he shoots up the law office.

The last five years are just too random, and the only constant is a psychiatrist prescribing psychotropic drugs.
