What
Happened?
A fifty year-old man saw two kids in his back yard, got a gun, went
outside and shot them. He reloaded his shotgun, put it to the dying
kid's head, and pulled the trigger. Then he called the police and said
they attacked him.
After around twenty minutes, a police unit arrived.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, a 15-year-old boy was shot
dead and his 16-year-old friend was seriously injured in the small
town of
Rödeby in southern
Sweden.

The Judge
Blekinge District Court dismissed all charges against the
man, ruling that in his panicked state he was completely
unable to comprehend the consequences of his actions and
therefore lacked intent. He was therefore not sent to jail or
to a secure mental hospital - the doctor who examined him said
he had been psychologically disturbed at the time of the
shooting, but had since recovered. He was even given his gun
back. 8

Teen Survivors Tell A Different Story
The father hired a local thug who beat up the kids. His son then
called the kids to come over and they would settle it, but the father
met them with a gun.2

Sweden's Jewish Groups Back Their Fellow Zionist
But the 50-year-old’s defence attorney, Vidar Wahlestedt, explained
that hundreds of people have written, emailed, and called him to show
their support for the Jewish man. In addition, around 7,000 people
have signed a petition pledging their support for the man.

Families Want Justice
The killer, and his family,
say they have now left the house and moved to another address where
they can try to get some peace and quiet and come to terms with
everything that has happened. They say they are deeply saddened by the
events of the weekend and expressed their sympathy for the families of
the two boys.
The also point out that they have continued to receive threats over
the weekend. They have been told that their entire family will be
wiped out and their farm burned down.
