A Car Bomb Inside The Base

One of the worst attacks of the war occurred when a car bomb went off inside a base, killing nine U.S. soldiers and wounded 20. It occurred at the Crusader American headquarters in the region of Diyala.

This has occurred more frequently since Gen Petraeus has inserted smaller , and less fortified, bases around Baghdad.

A U.S. military statement said the attack took place near Baquba, a religiously mixed area where U.S. commanders last month sent 1,000 extra troops.

"We have seen a lot of recent attacks up in Diyala ... that have been part of the fight for the province," said U.S. military spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Christopher Garver.

The Latest Count

At least 86 U.S. troops have been killed in Iraq this month, making April the deadliest since December, when 112 were killed.

At least 3,333 U.S. soldiers have been killed since the 2003 invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.

There Is More To This Story

I can't imagine a US facility not having a safety zone around it, and this was a headquarters facility on top of it. A likely scenario is a vehicle, or a bomb, was brought inside the base and detonated.

You have Israeli advisors, Zionists controlled support companies catering the food, Zionist run PXs, the Iraqi Interior Ministry, and then throw in the mercenaries. It just couldn't be a more dangerous situation, you are worried about the insurgents in front and the conniving Zionists in your back.
