McCain Promises New Yorkers

Sen. John McCain swept into Hillary Rodham Clinton and Rudy Giuliani's territory last night. He vowed US troops will defend Israel and saying military action may be needed to prevent Iran from building nukes.

McCain told a anxious audience of New Yorkers at the Waldorf Astoria that "The Iranian regime defines itself by hostility to Israel and the United States."

McCain Doesn't Mince Words

"We are dealing with a possibly deranged and surely dangerous regime."

"We have a long way to go diplomatically before we need to contemplate other measures," McCain said. "But it is a simple observation of reality that there is only one thing worse than a military solution, and that, my friends, is a nuclear-armed Iran.

McCain Promises To Protect Israel

On Israel, he pledged that America will "defeat terrorism . . . and we will stand with Israel as she fights the same enemy."

He also promised the state of Israel will "always, always" exist. Israeli children can rest assured that American boys will die to protect them.

McCain Plays Sycophant To Mayor Bloomberg

McCain is up against Giuliani, and says 'I will serve every New Yorker to my fullest'.

McCain was slated to have a private dinner with Mayor Bloomberg later last night at Gracie Mansion after Bloomberg aides arranged the meeting.
