Fisk's article says that Hezbollah is giving an immediate $12,000 to Lebanon's victims, and is going to finance the most of the rebuilding. He insinuates that Iran is behind it.

All of this is absurd. All Hezbollah did was shoot some toy rockets into empty Israeli fields. If Iran backed Hezbollah then they would given given them real weapons, and real targets.  If Iran was footing the current $12,000 x 18,000 people, then the international banking system could trace the source of the funds in a heartbeat.

And the point is Hezbollah is being tied to Iran for a reason. If Hezbollah takes out five airliner, then the world will look to Iran. So who is funding these guys? Iran makes zero sense, Israel doesn't pay for anything ever, Russia couldn't afford squat, so the leaves the CIA.
