Holocaust Survivors Question
Where $1.5 Billion Is Going
Jews Claimed Their Polish
Relatives Had Swiss Bank Accounts
The Swiss Got The Money And The
Jews Got The Oven
The Scam du Jour
In 1996. a group of Miami Beach Jews said their relatives had sent
enormous amounts of funds to Swiss banks, but the poor Jews were thrown
in ovens before they could collect. In 1998 the Swiss banks agreed to a
$1.5 billion dollar settlement. Naturally they were 'outraged' at the
pitiful settlement, but at least there was ceremonial justice. The Swiss
banks paid in gold, the Miami Beach retirees were happy until they found
out the gold was going to Russia, and not Miami Beach.
Now, the Miami Beach survivors are going after their lawyer.
Holocaust Survivors Say 'No'
They refuse Attorney
Neuborne's fee of $6.1 million
for acting as lead counsel in the recent Holocaust Litigation
against the Swiss Banks.
Burt Neuborne
He claims to have put in 10,000 hours of billing time.
Judge Reduces Fee
Judge Orenstein reduced the fee from Neuborne's original
request $6.1 million to $4.1 million.
A $1.5 Billion Dollar Settlement
The odd part is there is a $1.5 billion, and Neuborne's fee of $4
million is peanuts. The problem is the majority of that $1.5 billion
is going to some 'Mysterious Jewish' group in Russia
Miami Jews Are Objecting
The sniff a scam, and no doubt want to 'Wet their beaks'.
Miami Lawyer Anxious
Sammie Dubbin who represents the objecting survivors, would like
to see a settlement.
Mambas Biting Mambas
A group of second generation Miami Beach Zionists, who dodged serving
in WW-2, and who were never in Europe, claimed that Dr Mengele tortured
them, and sued in 1996. Now you have $1.5 billion in gold,
paid on an imaginary event, to some
imaginary relatives, in Russia.
The Swiss should be the ones mad, the gold came from their central
bank reserves.
