GAZA CITY ,(AFP) - A Gaza fisherman was killed by fire from an Israeli naval vessel.

"Hani Ibrahim Annajar, 27, a resident of the Shatti refugee camp in Gaza City, was hit in the head by a bullet after Israeli warships opened fire on his vessel off the coast of Gaza," a medical source said Monday, without specifying how far offshore.

"Fishermen who were with him brought him to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital but he was dead on arrival."

NABLUS, West Bank - Israeli troops shot and killed seven Palestinians in the West Bank on 10/17/2006. Israel said two were militants, one 16 yr old threw a rock, two were shot by undercover Jews.

Two more Palestinians were killed by army gunfire in Qabatiyeh after throwing stones at an army jeep, Palestinian security officials said.
