Lee's documentary focuses on incompetent federal officials, an unconcerned Bush administration, and how regular N'awlins folk were the real heroes. Lee portrays Nagin as a 'Black Politico', a rebel who don't do the New Orleans shuffle for Mr Whitie.
 

The Truth

The levees were blown in the poor neighborhoods, if Katrina hadn't veered at the last second, there would be thousands of dead blacks from the superdome collapse. Lee's people were given $2000, a bus ticket, and told to 'Get the f*** out'. The Atlantic City, and Las Vegas boys, are your real beneficiaries.
