Boy killed by cluster bomb in Lebanon
A nine-year-old boy was killed and four other people wounded in south
Lebanon on Wednesday in two separate cluster bomb explosions, security
officials said.
Mohammed Hassan Sultan was instantly killed when a cluster bomb exploded
near his house in the village of Sawwaneh, some 17 kilometers north of the
Israeli border. Three men were also wounded in the explosion.
In Qaaqayiet al-Jisr, about 10
kilometers farther north from Sawwaneh, a 36-year-old woman was wounded in
another cluster bomb explosion.
