The Colecovision game system and the Coleco ADAM home computer are two of
the more "forgotten" machines. The Colecovision had superior graphics to the
Atari 2600, but also had emulation support for the Atari 2600 with an
expansion module. It was a step above other consoles because of such
modularity. The Coleco ADAM was Coleco's failed attempt at making a "family"
home computer. The standard machine stored its data on "Digital Data Packs"
(magnetic tape) and came with a gigantic daisy-wheel printer and cheesy word
processor. The ADAM also supported all Colecovision games.
