In 1996, the L0pht was recognized for its "social behavior" (as opposed to the stereotypical "anti-social behavior" that has been unjustly connotated with hackers). "Geek Not Greek" suggests a fraternal atmosphere but of course we don't live at the L0pht. We do drink a lot of beer there though...

The web site seems to have moved on in version but the original edition of the book and CD are available at computer book-stores and computer super-stores at discount prices. 24 Hours In Cyberspace chronicled "a day in the life of the Internet". Other than our "Fraternal" atmosphere, we were also recognized for our technology reclaimation efforts.

Weld, Mudge and Kingpin explore the far end of an MIT dumpster as Brian Oblivion, Stefan and Tan have already spotted potential b00tie in the foreground. The best part about this dumpster is the missing side that allowed the photographer to get a real "hollywood" shot of "trashing".
