TEMPEST and Emission Security Controlled Design
TEMPEST & Emission Security Controlled Design
Course Length: 2 days
Appx. Cost - $5500 plus travel and
per-diem at your site. No limit on students that can
attend.
Intended for hardware engineers. Students who complete this course will have an in-depth
understanding of intelligence bearing emissions, what causes them, and how to reduce them
in their design and implementation or installation activities.
Overview:
Although updated regularly, this course is based on the original TEMPEST Design Course
approved by NSA during the early 1980s and subsequently offered by AFCEA for many years.
It has been presented in various forms to numerous defense and government agencies, as well as
commercial manufacturers, for the past 15 years. The course is not an EMI course, nor does
it address specific classified emission levels or detection techniques. No other course is
offered like this by any other organization.
Many practical examples
are provided.
The course handouts and numerous papers supporting each
topic covered in the course will be provided to the sponsoring company via CD for their publication
and/or copying.
Additionally,
all students can receive copies of
the CD version of the instructors book: Hardwire & Shielding Techniques
in Secure Communications through their sponsoring company.
There is no other course offered like this in Government or industry.
