Remote Viewing Workshops in 1997
Angela Thompson plans to offer a series of workshops in remote viewing (the term remote viewing being used in its general sense) throughout 1997. She writes:
Originally these were planned for Winter, Spring and Summer sessions, but I think there will be enough interest to do these on a monthly basis for between 1-10 students. A possible summer workshop might be held at the Valley of Fire or north of Las Vegas in the mountains, depending on how hot it gets.The sessions will cover such topics as coordinate remote viewing (CRV), associative remote viewing (ARV), technical remote viewing (TRV), meditative remote viewing (MRV), as well as other established techniques. Each workshop will cover both theory and practice. The workshops will be conducted in a professional manner and participants will have ample time for R&R in Las Vegas.
The weeklong Inner Vision Winter Workshop is planned, beginning Saturday February 1st, in Las Vegas, NV, until Friday, February 7th, 1997. Space is limited but there are other workshops planed for the Spring and Summer of 1997.
The Winter Workshop will cover human consciousness and altered states of consciousness, the history of RV and key people, cultural implications, moral issues, and a good portion of time will be spent in experiential sessions where students practice RV techniques through visual, auditory, tactile and kinaesthetic media.
Angela Thompson has a long and sound background in remote viewing research and teaching, having worked at psi laboratories on the east coast and carried out many consulting projects for remote viewing groups across the country.
The Winter Workshop fee is $1,000.00 per person for the 7 days or participants can attend the Introductory Weekend (February 1st and 2nd) for a fee of $150.00 per person per day. Please make checks payable to Angela Thompson and mail to 1836 Pinchot Street, Las Vegas, NV 89115 before January 17th, 1997. Participants are responsible for their travel to and from Las Vegas, local accommodation, and evening meals. Sessions will run from 9am to 2pm in order to allow participants to enjoy the amenities offered in Las Vegas. The sessions are intensive and participants are expected to attend daily throughout the week.
