Theft of Book Manuscript
Being Investigated

PAGEKEEPER'S NOTE: Dr. Morehouse & I talked about this situation and decided to post this notice to make anyone who might have received a copy of this material aware that they have inadvertently been placed into a delicate legal position. Dr. Morehouse wants everyone to know that he is not out to "harpoon" any innocent people, but to warn them that possession, and especially reproduction and distribution of this manuscript constitutes a legal violation of federal copyright laws, and that an investigation is in progress. In that spirit, the following notification was provided by Dr. David Morehouse for publication on the web page. He strongly urges anyone who has a copy of the manuscript to call Investigator Hayden Michael at the number below, as soon as possible.

NOTICE:

It has come to our attention that there are thieves among us. Apparently, several "bootleg" (unvetted and unauthorized) copies of Dr. David Morehouse's soon-to-be-published manuscript, titled, "PSYCHIC WARRIOR", are floating about the interested community. Readers are warned that this manuscript was quite literally stolen. This copy is a hodge-podge compilation of the author's writings, editors notes, rewrites, and a great deal of completely fabricated material - probably written by whomever perpetrated the theft.

Anyone wittingly in possession of, engaged in duplicating, and/or transferring this or any other unauthorized version of the manuscript are in violation of federal copyright laws. Readers are hereby warned that the FBI has been notified, and several investigators have been retained by the author and his publisher to seek out and prosecute those involved in this act of thievery. Obviously, there must be a great deal of truth to the book, or so much effort would not have been spent to steal it and attempt to discredit it. Depositions are being taken, the investigation is underway, and anyopne participating in this agregious endeavor will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Accompanying this illegal manuscript are duplicates of unsubstantiated allegations made against Dr. Morehouse during his ordeal with the U.S. government. They are being destributed in a feeble and desparate attempt to either delay production of the book, discredit the author, or both. What is important to note is that these are unsubstantiated allegations that did not result in arrest or conviction. All charges against the former Major Morehouse were dropped and he resigned from service. Further, there are no statements provided in defense of the allegations, nor is any evidence for or in support of extenuating or mitigating issues provided. In short, the material has been clearly distributed to serve in a one-sided defamatory role, to predjudice whomever receives it against Dr. Morehouse.

The circumstatnces surrounding Dr. Morehouse's ordeal with the military are well known by his agent, publishers, and his producers. Recently, copies of these documents along with annonymous letters arrived at both offices. These documents are now being treated as evidence for a possible defamation suit against the sender(s). Once identified at the receiving offices, these documents are being packaged and transported to investigators for evidentiary processing. Those participating will be tracked, identified, and may be named as defendents in the impending suit.

$10,000 REWARD IS BEING OFFERED TO THE PERSON(S) [to be equally distributed] PROVIDING INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST AND CONVICTION OF THOSE INVOLVED IN THIS COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. You may leave your number with Investigator Hayden Michael at 1-800-619-5128. You will be contacted for a deposition and you will be required to give your name.
