What follows is a brief review of that article, so you can judge whether you want to pursue the entire text. If you need quotes from this article, please go to the original, and do not quote from this review. If, for some reason, you do need to quote from this reveiw, please state clearly in your usage of the quote that it is NOT copyrighted material of the Washington Post, nor attributable to Jack Anderson, who authored the original article.

The article begins with references to Mr. Anderson's original articles on the subject of the government's use of "psychic spies", more than 10 years ago, in April, 1984.

Mr. Anderson then relates a very accurate, albeit brief history of the unit and its efforts, its physical location and its supporters. He gives examples of successful missions to show why the support was favorable.

Mr. Anderson then explains that the "achilles heel" of the unit was its unsuccessful missions, and compares them to the equivalent rate of unsuccessful missions which used other, more standard means of intelligence gathering.

The article ends with a quote from one of the remote viewers which hints at the emerging knowledge about problems within the unit by saying that the unit survived by doing what they did best - remote viewing and nothing else.
