[The Netsurfer who chances to come across this essay should first locate and read my earlier one entitled "Remote Viewing and the Signal-to-Noise Ratio." That essay and this one will cross-reference in one's mental information processing grids.]
*

A number of little known and little recognized areas of mind-dynamic activity are pertinent to the functioning not only of the remote viewing processes but all of the human superpowers of bio-mind. These areas include, among others:

--- The signal-to-noise ratio
--- The bio-mind sensorium
--- Sensory transducers
--- Mental information processing grids
--- Sensed information transfers within the grids
--- Stereotyped information packages and stereotypethinking processes.

The last topic itemized above is the subject of discussion in this essay. Compared to other pertinent topics, this one is the most boring of all --- largely because stereotype thinking is a phenomenon mostly associated with being stupid.

Even so, stereotype thinking is contagiously endemic among our species in all walks of life. It can easily be shown to be the source of many problems which prevent fuller realization of things.

Stereotype thinking can also be shown as one reason people dwell, so to speak, within REDUCED perceptions and awareness.

INCREASES AND ENHANCEMENTS of perceptions and awareness are very pertinent to the superpowers of the human bio-mind. Such increases are very hard to obtain if our mind grids contain factors installed earlier and which work to decrease what we later want to increase.
*

One of the real problems of bio-mind-dynamic thinking is that the wiring of the thinking IS built upon installed information points and which information points are, this way and that, connected (wired) to each another.

Anything then encountered (input) is processed as additional information via the interconnective wiring and through the already-installed information points. The output is thereby formulated or composed by virtue of the information points the inputs have been processed through.

The formal and accepted definition of stereotype thinking is that it reduces information into over-simplified concepts.

Over-simplifying information points and grids are not compatible, of course, with complex information packages that are likely to be encountered as one passes through life.

All but the barely conscious can surely comprehend this distinction.
*

At this point, the reader might desire an example or two of what is meant by stereotype thinking. Examples are good things and help increase understanding of what it meant. But one of the unrealized and unfamiliar functions of examples is that they permit an individual to assign the example to an established stereotype already contained by that individual.

In other words, you can input a given example into a hundred different human specimens --- and the result will be a hundred DIFFERENT outputs. Another way of saying this is that examples, specific enough in themselves, usually end up not meaning the same thing to different specimens who process information in different and usually stereotyped ways.

The purpose of this essay is to discuss the mind- dynamic STRUCTURE of stereotypes as contrasted to the content of them. Another way of putting this is to discuss the foundations, walls and roofs rather than the furnishings later installed in the structure.

So I'll put off giving examples until the end of this essay --- where I will discuss two of them.
*

One is quite likely to encounter stereotype thinking wherever one goes --- which is why it is boring because it is so redundant and omnipresent.

But it is a topic of vast importance to locating and developing any direct sense of one's indwelling superpower faculties.

The reason is very clear. Stereotype information packages reduce information into very over-simplified and therefore imprecise terms, often to the point that the reduction has no relationship to anything real.

In direct contrast to this, the functioning of the superpowers of bio-mind is complex and tends to work in precision-like ways.

If one is not aware of one's indwelling superpowers and cannot "learn" how to develop them, the meaning here is that one does not possess mental information processing grids that are precise enough either to recognize or process the information emanating from the superpower faculties.

Indeed, if one does not have a grid sufficient and precise enough to process information, say mathematically or in the French language, then one will neither a mathematician nor a French speaker be.

Human specimens are identifiable equally by what their grids do and do not process. Anti-psychic skeptics are probably just that because they have not developed the precision grids needed to process information emanating from their own superpower faculties.

They are thereby attracted to stereotype constructs which are intolerant of the superpower faculties of our species. If a group of these specimens joins together, they will then share the same non-permissive stereotypes and a peculiar social venue, or a mutual self-support system, will come into existence.

But I must hasten to point out here that the above excursion is not an example of stereotype thinking. Rather, it is a RESULT of it.
*

Being over-simplified as they always are, stereotype information packages induce noise into the signals emanating via the faculties of the superpowers --- often to the point of obliterating those signals altogether.

Additionally, many stereotype packages preclude superpower functioning altogether because they contain thought structures that are intolerant of it. In this case, the packages censor or blip the superpower signals altogether.

Finally, most stereotyped information packages are wired so that they run on automatic beneath conscious awareness --- meaning that few consciously realize they are possessed with a wide assortment of them.
*

The purpose of this essay is not to resolve or cure the stereotype situation, but rather to draw it to the attention of those who want to consider trying to locate and identify their superpower faculties.

I have elsewhere and several times pointed up that if the faculties for our indwelling superpowers could be contacted and developed via simplistic understanding and methods, then our species would already have become very highly skilled regarding the superpowers. In other words, there would be so-called "superpsychics" everywhere tripping over each other.

About the only place such creatures exist, though, is in science fiction where they gambol about in wild abundance --- and where they are usually portrayed as scaring the excreta out of everyone involved with them (See my forthcoming essay entitled "Anti-Psychic Skeptics Of The Twentieth Century."

In any event, plenty of so-called "psychic development" techniques or recipes exist and have been put forth during the Twentieth Century --- the "become psychic in six easy steps." These are read and studied in wild expectation of becoming an instant "psychic." But the wholesale arrival of the competent superpsychics has not yet occurred --- except in the famous Star Wars trilogy and in certain Star Trek episodes.

And so when we do see evidence of the real superpowers among real human specimens, we see the evidence only in some spontaneous or naturally occurring form --- such as in occasional psi episodes, spontaneous intuition, telepathy, and etc.

Real understanding is therefore missing which would lead to cognitive connecting up with the relevant faculties.

I am quite of the conviction that there are reasons for everything, and thus reasons for the missing understanding. The purpose of this essay is to discuss one of those reasons --- for unless its parameters are comprehended it will surely inhibit your access to your own indwelling superpowers.
*

That reason, in its first instance, has very little directly to do with our inherent superpowers themselves. Rather, it has to do with how we think --- or, more precisely, what we use to think with. In partial explanation of this, surely it is realized that our superpower faculties have something to do with thought and the processes of thinking.
*

By way of getting into this, it is first necessary to establish that there IS a distinction between (1) thinking processes, and (2) the results of them.

It is also necessary to point up that the societies of the modern age have been almost entirely fixated on the results of thinking, with very little effort in the direction of the processes themselves.

In general, most of us have been taught WHAT to think, not how to effectively think or how to identify and manage our thinking processes.

In fact, the distinction here is so compressed that most of us believe that WHAT we think ABOUT things is thinking itself. Well, such is only the result of the thinking processes oriented in certain ways, not the processes themselves.
*

By way of possible enlightenment here, consider the several kinds of human societies which presently inhabit portions of the Earth. It is said that the members of these different societies "think differently," and that this accounts for the nature and identifiable parameters of their societies.

But if we bear in mind that there is a difference between thinking processes PER SE and the results of those processes, then it is the results that distinguish between the societies --- and not the inherent thinking potentials of the species itself.

These inherent thinking potentials must be approximately the same throughout our species entire. But they can be formatted differently. And so it is the formatting which is different and which results in the different identifiable socio-cultural parameters.
*

All human specimens are, process-wise, born to think. It is WHAT they come to think that divides up the born-to- think principle into different categories.

It is to be understood that the thinking processes can be programmed or oriented to produce desired results --- desired WHATs, so to speak.

When we adapt or orient our thinking processes so that they produce the desired WHATs, then we find we fit in with the society which wants us precisely to manifest those WHAT- results so that we do fit in.
*

Now, the contexts of the above discussion are not unfamiliar ones. Indeed, it has been treated by many, and the concepts of conformity, mindsets, mind entrainment, mind- manipulation, and so forth have been offered up to typify various aspects of the overall situation.

But two observations are seldom made that also typify the overall situation.

On average, most human specimens (1) really don't want other specimens to think different WHATs than they themselves; and (2) most human specimens are reluctant or unwilling to change the WHATs they do produce via their oriented or programmed thinking processes.

And, (3) it is also possible to observe that most human specimens fully believe that their produced WHATs are correct WHATs. The very idea that their WHATs may be incorrect is very embarrassing, so much so that they may be willing to take down those with other WHATs or even sacrifice themselves in an effort to die "on behalf of their values."

WHATs produced as results of our thinking potentials are therefore serious business.
*

But there is only one thing that produces all the WHATs ever produced: the inherent, born-to-think processes themselves. Before these inherent thinking processes become programmed or oriented to produce different WHATs, at base the processes are probably quite identical in every specimen born.

In their natural state, these inherent thinking processes are recombinant ones. The WHATs they produce, though, are fixated, solid, concretizing and not usually recombinant.
*

In a recent article I read sometime ago, one of the new definitions of "genius" is given as the ability to escape the limits of given WHATs enough so that one's basic thinking processes "can see what other's can't." (See: "The Puzzle of Genius: New Insights Into Great Minds," Newsweek, June 28, 1993.)

Another way of putting this might be: escaping or transcending the limits of stereotypes others are dwelling in so as to see what their stereotypes do not permit them to see.
*

What we fondly refer to as "Education" is mostly an attempt to ensure that the educates produce the WHATs desired of them, so that they will become a "productive unit of the society which has educated them."

In a certain sense, then, after the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic have (hopefully) been installed, the rest of the education is WHAT programming --- often grossly and blatantly so.

I've not been able to discover many educational goals that teach one how to think. If any Netsurfer who chances to read this knows of any organized format regarding how (not WHAT) to think, I'd appreciate a mention of them.
*

By now you may be wondering what all this has to do with the superpowers of the human bio-mind. Well, in answer here, none of the WHATs we think about them seem to be correct or accurate.

If they were, then constructive developments regarding the superpowers would already have taken place on a large- scale basis.

Since this is not the case, we must then assume we have to bypass or jettison all the non-productive WHATs and enter into new and unfamiliar territory which is pertinent to the basic thinking processes themselves.

During the thirty years I've been researching the superpowers, and especially the mind-dynamic-wiring processes leading to high-stage remote viewing, thousands have asked me how to develop all or any of the superpowers.

For starters, I usually respond: you can forget all that you think you know about them. This is usually interpreted as being flippant because the idea of jettisoning what one thinks one knows produces earthquake- like tremors in mind-dynamic grids.
