It's just a hunch, but I suspect that "Remote Viewing" is going to be the next "hot thing" to "really be into". Remote viewing can be defined as "A natural human talent for acquiring information without using: the normal five senses, help or information from other people, logical deductions, photographic, electronic, written, or other physical means of information retrieval." Sounds a lot like "psychic perception", doesn't it? Well, it may be "a lot like"... but Remote Viewing, when properly done, is a highly structured, replicable skill that can be effectively taught and utilized.

Remote Viewing has been around for a number of years, but it has been hidden deep within the bowels of the Pentagon and tucked away in the hallowed halls of Stanford Research Institute... only occasionally making a quick foray out into the corporate world. As an experiential modality, it (and its practitioners) have matured to the point where it's preparing to make a very visible debut in the New Age/Metaphysical/Transpersonal communities. If you're one of those people who likes to be the "firstest with the mostest", consider subscribing to the remote viewing newsletter, "The TAME CAT TRIBUNE"

Editor Lyn Buchanan has twelve years of personal experience as a remote viewer and has just recently begun publishing the newsletter and conducting training for the general public (he's good, I've been through his program). His dream is to make remote viewing available to people who have a sincere interest in improving the quality of life on this planet, and the "TAME CAT TRIBUNE" is one of the vehicles he has developed to "spread the word".

It's a fascinating little publication which provides information on a host of subjects related to remote viewing. In the first two issues, one finds, among other things: personal stories and anecdotes, book reviews, an article about similarities between aspects of remote viewing and the martial arts, current events in the field of remote viewing, tips on how to improve one's remote viewing abilities, and (my favorite) a remote viewing object for the reader to "have a go at". (The subsequent issue reveals the results.)

This is a new publication which is just getting off the ground (on a shoestring) so, as might be expected, it's format is still rather basic... but I see nothing that can't be corrected with a little bit of time and money (from new subscriptions). It's got a lot going for it and I anticipate that it will soon be in great demand.
