Founded by Ed May, the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory was formed at SRI in 1985 and moved with May to SAIC. May and the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory are currently at a "small start-up research place called the Laboratories for Fundamental Research". (Email from Ed May, 8/7/96)
