the peddler
	-----------

	Peddler in the market place!
	Selling tainted meat!

	Wait -- I'm not the only one,
	Who's been sickened;

	Seems the word has spread,
	And most avoid him;

	And the marketplace is lively,
	Since I've been ill;

	I think I'll shop a while,
	Before I peddle again.


		he's still a criminal
		in the most obscene sense
		but sometimes justice
		is only for the movies
		and the very rich

I was walking down the street
and saw an old Indian selling
an old, old pair of moccasins

I asked him who he thought
would want to buy a pair
he had worn in so throughly...

He said, "No one, I'm afraid,
though from a distance
many seem to covet my old moccasins"

And I asked him why he was
so eager to sell them and he said
"So their words will reach me"
