Confusion over the course of history is unnecessary if one has his eyes open. Forces of one kind or another have been at work for the control of other men ostensibly for the natural resources or "our national interests". While this is one motive, it is not the greatest impetus for control of the world. Moral control over other human beings is based in religion or one's core belief system. That belief system includes the notion that "I am God". Religious freedom is the expression that men believe there is a God who rules over them. When religious freedom is denied, it is the expression that the one denying that freedom believes he is God. I do not mean to say that religion is to blame, but, rather, a religion is the motivating force.
Every man has a religious idea, even though he may not call it that, and the forces that now govern national and international interests are no different. Every man worships something. He either worships God, a god or himself. Man's great desire for one world in harmony is the story that the United Nations has adopted. While this idea seems laudable, humans do not function on the level that everyone is the same. Because of this, the forces of world unity are using deception, force and even death to encourage the masses that their new way is best. The same thing happened during the Middle Ages when one forceful religion, calling itself Christian and thinking itself God, murdered millions of its foes. This is as it has always been, one religion over another.
Freedom of conscience is the way of thinking that the one-world idea must annihilate. What this means is that the New Order believes it has a moral competitor and, since it believes itself to be God, all other competition must necessarily cease. Historic Christianity is one religion that must be eradicated since it has instilled in its adherents freedom of conscience. One or the other must go. This has always been the basis for oppression of those who truly have the freedom of faith.
If government is not coming from truth, but, instead, coming from its own "godness", it is surely to come into conflict with truth sooner or later. This does not seem so now because so many professing truth have sold out their morals to the state. They say they follow truth while, in reality, they follow government which is symbolized in Scripture by "the Beast."
While the president of the United States is acting as the preacher of this new order with great moral pronouncements and directives as to what the people ought to do, it is inevitable that this morality will come into conflict with the real truth since this so-called morality is based on a lie. When presidents use the force of arms as against the Davidians to crush out a people opposed to their leadership, the mask is torn off and we see the stake of the Middle Ages instead of "Old Glory". Sheep's clothing will not always hide the wolf. While governments may pile the fleece a mile high over their acts of violence, the smell of the wolf will still come through sooner or later. Conspiracy to dominate the consciences of men in their religion or politics must sooner or later be exposed this way.
Only now some of the most hidden horrors of Vietnam are being exposed. In the current Public Television documentary, "Vietnam", a woman explains how she was tortured because they thought she had knowledge of the Viet Cong. They put electrodes on her nipples and shocked her with large shocks which sent her to the floor whenever they applied the voltage. They also forced shoots of bamboo under her fingernails. Two American advisors were present at her interrogation. We as Americans always believed the Nazis and Russians did such things, but never considered that we were the greatest offenders. America and the United Nations cross over the line when men are forced to worship this one world order or suffer the wrath of this new giant. When men play God they must come to their end.
Now, it is recognized that most men would like those who quote from the Bible to just shut up, but it may do the reader some good to take a look at one little item in the Bible that might put some light on things. A man may not care one way or another about "being good" or "following God", but most men like to know if a snake is sneaking up on him whether he is religious or not.
The stealthy advance of the beast has been seen but not understood by most Americans. Under the pretext of religious freedom for all and separation of church and state, the forces of truth have been well-nigh emasculated. Scripture predicts this conflict. It says, "And all the world followed after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And it was given unto him to make war with the holy, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. ...And cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. ...And that no man might buy or sell unless he had the mark...of the beast."
So, it's clearly stated. The bestial state or "beast" is said to force every man to consider the laws of the state supreme or they will be threatened with death. They must have the mark of the beast or state. That is -- their allegiance must be to the state first and to their religions secondly. Simple enough, isn't it?
That is already taking place in various ways. Consider the property tax which is used to educate children to follow after this bestial power. If a person refuses to pay this tax, the beast steals his property. If a person refuses to pay his income taxes because they are used to support homosexual causes, abortion and world conquest, he may be fined or arrested for the dreaded charge of "tax evasion". The state has already decreed in this that men cannot live by their conscience without punishment. The law of the state is first and the citizens are spared no education so that they might get this point. It is written, "And his power shall be mighty...and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft (political tricks) to prosper in his hand; and shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace (peace keepers) shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes (true spiritual faith)." In other words, he doesn't give a stick for your conscience. If you do not obey the beast (state) and its law, you suffer punishment. Dissenters are even now executed as happened with so many in Iraq, Africa, Vietnam and a host of other places.
In the works are laws to tighten this noose. More and more it will become increasingly impossible to buy or sell except you take this bestial mark upon you. More and more one cannot work without a permit or license. He must be sure to file his W4. Men cannot work unless his records are clearly seen so that he might be arrested if he does not pay his dues to the beast. If one deposits or withdraws over $10,000 from his bank account, he is reported to the government by the bank. If a man buys a car and pays with cash, he is reported to the government by the car dealer. If a man is found to have a stash of money that might have some cocaine dust on it, those funds will be confiscated and kept by the beast for its own purposes. The United States along with the United Nations has exposed their hands, and those who go into the pit of this new system may at least be doing it with their eyes open.
As it was said, when a government takes upon itself the prerogatives of God, it, in effect, claims to be God. As it is written, "Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is exposed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God." (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).
So now we see it. The beast, predicted so long ago who stands up as God and the ruler of men's consciences, has come. Millions say, "I pledge allegiance". Their souls have been sold to an oppressive and dictatorial power. The simple ones all send their sons off to some foreign conquest of this evil empire and, when some return, their foolish ministers tie yellow ribbons onto trees. I suppose "yellow" is fitting, but why ribbons? Should we be thankful that the beast has just succeeded in murdering hundreds and thousands of those it has not yet caused to bow the knee? All men worshipping the beast are saying, "Who can make war with the beast?" There is some good news though, "He shall be broken without hand. ...He shall come to his end, and none shall help him."
