CLINTON DECLARES, "TOO MUCH FREEDOM FOR AMERICANS"

Americans are losing faith in the integrity and honor of their government. The recent siege involving the Montana Freeman illustrates the distrust with which many view Washington leadership. The emergence of the various state Militia groups is a telling evidence of the suspicion and alarm with which government at all levels is regarded. Many perceive the servant to have become the menacing master.

How could this take place in America with the Constitution and Bill of Rights which the elected officials have sworn to uphold and defend? This constitution has for over 200 years kept in restraint every subversive force and stands today as guarding our society from all destructive elements, or so we have thought.

"President Clinton has candidly stated that liberties are the gift of the state and that the state has been too generous. This statement came during MTV's "Enough is Enough" forum: when we got organized as a country, we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly. 'However', said Mr. Clinton, 'in a contemporary America there's a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there is too much personal freedom.'

"Just prior to his appearance on MTV the Clinton Administration had ordered warrantless 'weapons sweeps' to be conducted in a Chicago housing project. When a federal judge ruled that such searches violate the Constitution, Mr. Clinton instructed Administration officials to find a way around the Constitution. To justify these actions, Mr. Clinton told his MTV audience that 'When personal freedom is being abused, you have to move to limit it. That's what we did in the announcement I made last weekend on the public housing projects, about how we're going to have weapon sweeps and more things like that to try to make people safer in their communities'." The NEW AMERICAN, pg.43. As can be seen, officials are indeed finding a way "around the constitution", by insidiously substituting policy for principle and pretext and strategy for ethics and honor.

It may be surprising to most Americans to learn that a plan for the disarmament of the United States has been in place for 35 years. The program was unveiled at the UN in 1961 by President Kennedy. Officially entitled, "Freedom from War: The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World", it is also known as the "Department of State Publication 7277". The document calls for the complete surrender of the United States armed forces to the United Nations and the establishment of a United Nations Peace Force as the unchallengeable world military power.

The real problem for Americans is in not recognizing the situation for what it truly is. National blindness is the result of moral and spiritual disarmament on the individual level. Our constitution has preserved us to the degree that our collective character has permitted, but as a people we no longer possess an identity with the principles which compose the constitution. It was written by a people of self-determination who were inherently free÷a freedom born of inward integrity and self-government. These conditions no longer exist in America. We have created space for this subversive power to subtly assume control. A void is always filled with that which surrounds it.

"Perhaps as a people, we are not morally strong enough to be free. If this is the case then we shall certainly lose our freedom, and it will not matter what 'ism' supplants Americanism. But this will not prove that our free way of life was not the best way. It will only prove that we were not worthy of it." Betty Knowles Hunt (1952).

Because of personal and public compromise from what has been known to be true, as a nation we have fulfilled the conditions for subjugation by the world power described in scripture as "the beast". "And the whole world went after the beast in amazement and admiration. And power was given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and language and nation", [uniting the nations, United Nations]. "And they praised and worshipped the beast (UN) exclaiming, who is a match for the beast and who can make war against him?

"And all the inhabitants of the earth WHOSE NAMES HAVE NOT BEEN RECORDED IN THE BOOK OF LIFE will be astonished when they look at the beast, and pay him homage." Those whose names are recorded in the Book of Life will neither be astonished nor admire this power, for they are governed by God and cannot come under domination by the New World Order. "And they (UN) shall wage war upon the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them and conquer." (Rev. 17:8,14)
