According to C|net News.com, there is a story about IT spending and news from market researcher Giga. Giga predicts that the new jobs that were supposed to be opening in the new year are not going to be. They predict that the increase in spending was not analyzed with a great accuracy. You can read more

Another Hacker dies
Well, some of you know, but Sunday morning a DoC hacker named Sinster died. It took me sometime to post this due to reflecting and thoughts. I didn't know him that well but I know his friends, and when I lost friends in the WTC happening, I think of life in a different feel. I felt horrible when Krys went, but now it's happening more and more to our peers. I wish you all safe holidays. Please think about those who are gone. I don't know what else to say.
Just a a quick note
One of my closest friends Lisa needs a job. Her resume is located
here. If you have a job opening for a high level help desk or system admin. Please e-mail
lisaw@moloch.org.
Santa, Bring us Jobs for Xmas
Too many of us in the computer industry are out of jobs. Please find in your heart to adopt a computer professional today. We would have gotten Sally Struthers to do a "Feed the Hackers" infomercial but she ate all of our snacks and tried to take a bite out of me. I have been looking for a steady position since April of 2001 and I haven't found a job. Psst... My resume is at
tommEE.net. I know more than just I, are unemployed, so if you hear of positions in the NYC or LA area. Pass it on to me and I will pass it on to the many people unemployed out here.
