Microsoft, your shit just isn't up to par
CNet news.com reports on a story that a cable provider was testing Microsoft enhanced TV cable boxes with an audience of 100 people. The people stated that they were looking for more out of thier boxes, like networking between PC's and TVs. The cable company said that they are looking forward in using Microsoft in some way in the future. I don't want Microsoft in my TV, I have seen what they have done to some desktops. I have a TiVo helping me with my TV viewing and it has never crashed. Guess what... it's a Linux thing. More here.
