I love California and all the laws and rules they try to put in place. Some are laughable and some are not. I am not a student but I was disturbed about this newest rule that I saw on FOX 11 news in LA. It seems that a certain high school is not letting student to participate in graduation ceremonies unless they have a college acception or military obligation. They will still graduate but now they aren't going to see their parents smiling from the crowd. It's just disturbing. I realize they said that this is supposed to motivate students to shoot for better jobs in the end and limit unemployment but hey, electro-shock therapy is a motivator as well.
