I was joking with some friends during Friday afternoon and I came up with a little idea. People often ask me for different ideas and tricks that they can use in their computer duties so I thought I would start posting them here.

Take your links...

I found myself going home and not having the links I use at work. You probably do the same. You find a web site at work and you link it. You don't have it available at your house. I do something that might work for you.

I use Mozilla for my web browser and this is what I do. I go to 'Bookmarks' and 'Manage Bookmarks'. Then export the bookmarks. Save the file as bookmarks.html and then ftp or scp that file to a web site. That way you can view your bookmarks from anywhere by going to http://www.mysite.com/bookmarks.html. I do this every friday to ensure that I have my links over the weekend.
