Not really news but...
Hey people, I am very excited about this. Me and some other folks are going to pub crawl and hang with the people from such classics as Toxic Avenger and Terror Firmer. Then later going to the premier LA screening of Citizen Toxie: Toxic Avenger IV. Woo! This is all happening Friday, so be sure to look out for the pics.

Siemens is evaluating the impact of a security bug that allows malicious hackers to crash phones by sending a malformed SMS message in Chinese. The flaw, which affects Siemens 3568i (or below) mobiles but not Siemens 6688 phones, involves a bug in the way exceptional characters are displayed. Oh great, so it takes a hacker intelect to do this? More found here

News from the past week
Sorry it's been too long since news posts but the business that I have in my life is just entertaining. This week gave us Linux World in New York City. The Moloch attendees did state that it was too small and there were not any givaways to be noticable. This past Friday was the Troma Films party for the LA screening of Toxic Avenger 4. The movie will be shown this coming Friday, more info on http://www.troma.com. I have some pictures from the party here.
