Woman, get your ass back in the kitchen
I don't spend much time in the kitchen but if I had this, I might. You might want a lazy boy in the kitchen too if you had Korea's LG Electronics Multi-Media Refrigerator, with a built-in 15-inch LCD. It's going for the low price of $8000 but what would you pay to surf the wave of the future. You can use it to watch TV, surfing the Internet or looking at digital pictures. Image porn and eggs huh? Xbox doing this Linux Jig?
Hey party people. The A 350 MB installation CD of Xbox Linux Mandrake 9 is available for download free of charge from the Xbox Linux website. Running Linux on your Xbox makes it less of a game station probably, but it also makes it less of a Microsoft thing. To be able to use Xbox Linux Mandrake 9, you need a "modded" Xbox and a USB keyboard and mouse connected to the Xbox by a Xbox-USB adaptor, which can be easily built by most users. See more here.

Here's one news item
I was watch my favorite channel 'Tech TV' the other day and on Tech Live, they said that there is this Fake AP software. Well it turned out to be from some guys we know from Defcon but I guess Tech TV finally caught up to them. It's from the guys at Black Alchemy. Fake AP can announce up to 53,000 bogus networks. A wardriver in the vicinity of a Fake AP-using network would see a stream of fake access points (generated by dictionary-based "naming" software) flying across his or her laptop screen. The goal is to make finding an open Wi-Fi network like finding a needle in a haystack. Find it here

I have been sick lately
There hasn't been much news here because I have been sick. It's Flu season and I have caught a whopper of a fever. News is coming today but I just wanted to apologize for the hold-up.

Even though I am a New Yorker, finally...
Remember that movie The Net. It showed in the beginning, Sandra Bullock ordering a pizza online from Pizza Hut. Well I have been to their site a million times and I never had such luck. Today I went to the Pizza Hut site and sure enought, they have online ordering now. They even had a deal, first timers get any size/type pizza with 7 toppings for $7.99. Not a bad deal. Check out Pizza Hut at http://www.pizzahut.com

Another Product Review: PcAlly Optical MicroMouse
I bought Pinnacles USB video port at Fry's yesterday. It looked like a cool item but the video codecs it was using were shit. So today I took it back and picked up the PcAlly Optical MicroMouse. I saw this mouse at toorcon last weekend and had to pick one up. Fry's had it priced at $29.95 but it seems worth the price. It's optical and it's really small. It has a scroll wheel that can be programmed but I didn't try that yet. Windows 2000 needed no drivers and I booted into RedHat 7.3 with no issues either. I totally recommend this device.
