Moloch Gang on Tech TV tomorrow
I was watching Tech TV's Cybercrime show and the commercials started to come on and I went into a daze. Suddenly I heard Abbynrml's voice from the TV. It was a commecial for a show called Secrets, Strange & True. It turns out it's a weekly program that is an hour long. They are showing the documentary that Moloch participated in a couple years ago. Other participants include CyberJunkie and Cold Fire. If you are in the US and have Tech TV, you can watch us on Sunday at 7PM Eastern Time/4PM Pacific. Check out the show's link at http://www.techtv.com/secretstrangeandtrue/story/0,24330,3407715,00.html

Did you just say penis?
Hot laptop burns scientist's penis.

LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Laptops have always been a hot item but a 50-year-old scientist did not realise to what extent until he burned his penis.

The previously healthy father of two remembered feeling a burning sensation after he had been writing a report at home for about an hour with the computer on his lap.

He noticed a redness and irritation the following day but it was not until he was examined by a doctor that he realised how much damage had been done.

"The ventral part of his scrotal skin had turned red, and there was a blister with a diameter of about two centimetres (0.8 inches)," Claes-Gorn Ostenson, of the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, wrote in a letter published in The Lancet medical journal on Friday.

Two days later, the blisters broke and the wounds became infected and then crusted but after about a week the unidentified scientist was "healing quite rapidly."

Ostenson noted that the computer manual did warn against operating it directly on exposed skin but said the patient had lap burns even though he had been wearing trousers and underpants. Taken from CNN

All I can say is "Funny Funny Funny!

"This...story should be taken as a serious warning against use of a laptop in a literal sense," he added.

So, 802.11G? Right on!
So a company here in California is releasing the 802.11G, sounds good. Linksys said Tuesday that early December would see the introduction of the home and office gear, which includes PC cards for laptops, at $80; access points, or radio transmitters, for $140 each; and a router, priced at $150. The only thing that I am worried about is if I am still going to have problems with my X10 cameras in my house. THey run on the 2.1 Ghz spec but there is no words about harmonic interference.

Segway vs. Realdoll
I don't really think that I have to explain this too far. Segways will be sold by Amazon for the low price of $5,000. They are execpting deposits of $495 for the two wheeled scooter. I think it is now coming down to a question of which you would rather not been seen with in the city walking down a sidewalk. I guess either one would show that you don't get many dates. On the other hand, you would be getting laid with the realdoll. Pick your own Real Doll here
